Kevin Smith joined SySys in 2010 as Senior Vice President of Business Strategy. Kevin brings over fifteen years of financial services experience, specifically in the asset management and mutual fund arenas. Kevin’s professional career includes over 12 years at Janus Capital Group, 4 years at OppenheimerFunds and 2 years at Atlas Funds.
Prior to joining SySys, Kevin served as Vice President of Business Technology at OppenheimerFunds. Before joining OppenheimerFunds, Kevin enjoyed a successful career as Director and Assistant Vice President of e-Marketing at Janus Capital Group. Kevin’s career at Janus included leadership positions in various strategic initiatives, operations, client service, project management office, vendor management and e-marketing. Kevin held FINRA series 6, 26 and 63 licenses for over 15 years and has a complete understanding of the asset management business and is eager to share his experiences with you and your firm.
Kevin enjoys family time, surfing in Southern California with friends, learning acoustic guitar and getting his golf handicap down.
