SySys launches corporate website, adds David Freese to management team.
April 14, 2009, Denver, CO – SySys Corporation launched a new version of its website today, featuring a new design and more detailed and precise information about its data and content management capabilities for financial services companies.
The website is the company's first major marketing initiative since the addition of David Freese as VP for Marketing and Business Development. According to SySys CEO and President Andrew Christensen, "Hiring David shows our ongoing commitment to helping our customers make the most of their marketing and branding strategies on the web."
The launch of SySys' new website showcases the firm's e-Business expertise—as well as the ease of use of SySys' industry-leading technology, FundSys™, a versatile web and print communication tool for asset managers.
Before joining SySys, Freese was responsible for e-Business at Russell Investments and at Babson Funds, where he specialized in online branding, web publishing, evaluating competitor intelligence and implementing global e-Business strategies. At SySys, his experience enables him to interface effectively with his peers—marketing and e-Business professionals at client companies.
Collaborating on e-Business initiatives
"With our own website, www.SySys.com, our goal was to practice what we preach," says Freese. "A lot of people in our target audience haven't realized that our capabilities are as strong—or stronger—than many of our much larger competitors. We focus on one industry, financial services, instead of trying to cover the whole waterfront. SySys has a great story, and we want more people to know about it."
A key part of Freese's role is helping clients understand the value of consistent messaging to reinforce their brand on the web—and helping to ensure that they take advantage of the full-range of capabilities that FundSys provides to enhance their marketing efforts.
As Andrew Christensen notes, "To succeed in today's competitive environment, asset managers require real-time market information that allows them to communicate both threats and opportunities to their clients in a timely way. David really understands the complexities of this challenge. He helps our clients understand how they can leverage their efforts on the web and keep their brand current."
